Baked Bliss caught us completely off-guard a while back and gave us our new favorite independent Waco bakery that we didn’t even know we needed. If you’re trying to diet, I’m genuinely sorry for this post, because you’re definitely not going to want to miss this.
Baked Bliss was started in 2013, and we’re shocked that we hadn’t heard of it before recently. The public has nothing but kind things to say about Kim, the owner. Her work is consistent and amazing, making her one of the most loved bakers in town.
So- let’s dive into a little of what Baked Bliss has to offer!
If you need a sweet treat, I say to go for the Strawberries & Cream or Cranberry Orange Scone. But then again, the cinnamon rolls are to die for. But there are also muffins, cupcakes, and so much more… I’ll take one of each.
Baked Bliss nails the savory treats, as well. The Cheddar Bacon Scones are the perfect snack for those of you that have less of a sweet tooth than I do (you lucky dogs). I’d also recommend the Sausage Kolaches! You can find the full menu on the Baked Bliss Facebook page.
By now, you’re probably dying to go try this for yourself. So- set aside some time in your schedule on a “Fun Friday” to stop by. On this day, and this day only, Baked Bliss is open to the public. They operate from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., making it the perfect place to stop in and grab breakfast to start your weekend with a party. The assortment is amazing, and the employees are the friendliest you’ll find. If you want to hang out for a while, there’s a nice porch area in front of the building as well!
If you’re throwing a celebration of any type, You can special order cakes, cupcakes, and more any day of the week. The prices are super reasonable, and the flavors are so decadent. We’re talking Berry Chantilly, Italian & Coconut Creme, Caramel Macchiato, and more. Amazing.
We love the new wave of great, real, homemade foods that is sweeping through Waco. Baked Bliss was a much needed addition to our list of favorite places! Enjoy your treats, everyone.
